Defatting of samples using Soxhlet
UniversalExtractor E-800: Defatting large sample volumes using automated Soxhlet
A simple and reliable procedure for defatting samples is introduced. As an example, rice bran samples and sunflower press cake are extracted according to the Soxhlet method using UniversalExtactor E-800 LSV. Large sample amounts can be defatted in parallel when using the LSV (Large Sample Volume) version for a high sample throughput.
