Ammonia determination in fly ash

Fly ash is filtered from the air exhaust of incineration and other industrial plants. The content of ammonium in fly ash is monitored in order to determine the way of disposing. In this application note, the ammonia content was determined after steam distillation and titration using KjelFlex K-360.
