Vacuum distillation under inert conditions

Vacuum distillation is a common sample handling step in daily laboratory work. Most evaporations are performed under oxygen-rich conditions, but in certain applications, the protection of precious compounds from oxidative reactions is required. In this technical note, solutions to distill under inert conditions on vacuum distillation units are demonstrated.
