Solvent recovery on FatExtractor E-500_TN

The recovery of organic solvents used for fat extraction (petroleum ether, chloroform, hexane) was determined for all configurations (Soxhlet, Hot Extraction and ECE) of the FatExtractor E-500. This study revealed that the FatExtractor E 500 ensures a high solvent recovery of over 90 % for standard extraction methods. The high recovery ensures safe and environmental friendly extractions and emission-free operation.
