Chromatography Support Specialist / Customer Experience Manager

You will lead our customer service and experience efforts for Sepiatec (SFC) product solutions and foster positive relationships with our clients. The primary objective is to improve our systems, procedures, processes, instrument designs and workflow solutions, achieving great customer focus and delivering an outstanding customer experience with BUCHI.

What makes your everyday life exciting?

The key responsibilities will be to ensure excellent customer service and act as a trainer and 2nd-level supporter, be it technical or applicative. You will be the connection between customers, our sales and service centers as well as our partners, and the internal technical engineering, applicative specialists, and quality department.

Furthermore, the role is actively working with operations, sourcing, testing, and the development team for Sepiatec and our Chromatography product solutions to constantly raise the bar of customer satisfaction. The final critical component of the activity spectrum is dedicated to being a congenital partner to the worldwide purification business development organization in the pharmaceutical, chemical, and natural products industry fostering a strong collaboration and enabling profitable business growth.

What skills do you need to bring?

  • Proven experience in chromatography and a good understanding of customer service management, preferably gained in the chromatography industry.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills (German and English), adept in inspiring others in a matrix organization.
  • Abel to analyze and translate customer feedback into tangible improvement action driving product innovation, technical support, customer-focused processes, and service delivery.
  • Experience in developing and implementing customer service policies and procedures.
  • Networker with established relationships to opinion leaders in the field of drug development and purification science.
  • Bachelor’s degree in analytical chemistry with ample experience in chromatography is preferred.
