The perfect match: SpeedExtractor and SyncorePlus

In environmental and residue analysis, the extraction process is often the time-determining step in the determination of various impurities in solid or semi-solid samples. Thanks to accelerated solvent extraction under pressure (PSE), which has now become established in environmental analysis, an analyte can be extracted quickly and efficiently. Extraction is particularly time-saving if, as with the BUCHI SpeedExtractor, up to 6 samples can be processed simultaneously.

The parallel concept of the SpeedExtractor is ideally complemented by the BUCHI Syncore Plus parallel evaporator - in the Analyst or Polyvap versions. With this complete solution, the extract can be concentrated to a predefined residual volume (Analyst) or evaporated to dryness (Polyvap) directly in the collection vessels of the SpeedExtractor without transfer and therefore without loss.

The SyncorePlus Analyst concentrates up to 12 samples simultaneously to a defined residual volume of 0.3, 1.0 or 3.0 mL. Special tubes and a cooling zone integrated in the device enable the user to use the concentrated extracts directly for GC or HPLC. This eliminates the step of re-suspending the extract in a solvent in order to change the vessel. The solvent removed from the extracts is condensed and collected directly in the SyncorePlus, making this complete solution not only time-saving, but also environmentally friendly and safe. In addition, both versions of the Syncore can be equipped with a flushback module, which significantly increases the recovery rate thanks to spot cooling of the sample vials.

With the combination of the latest generation of devices, the SpeedExtractor E-914 / E-916 and the SyncorePlus parallel evaporator, BUCHI offers a safe, fast, flexible and efficient complete solution that significantly increases sample throughput in the laboratory and considerably reduces the waiting time for results.
