FatExtractor E-500 SOX, FatExtractor E-500 HE: Crude Fat Determination in Different Feed Samples by Soxhlet and Hot Extraction
A simple procedure for a crude fat determination in samples in which fat is not strongly bound to the matrix is introduced below. The samples are extracted without prior hydrolysis with Soxhlet and Hot extraction using the FatExtractor E-500. The crude fat content is determined gravimetrically after the extract is dried to a constant weight.
