FatExtractor E-500 SOX, HydrolEx H-506: Total fat determination in baby food by Soxhlet Extraction
A simple and reliable procedure for the fat determination in baby food products is introduced. The sample is hydrolyzed with the HydrolEx H-506 and extracted with the FatExtractor E-500. This application note follows the official method ISO 4156:2001, ISO 11085:2015, AOAC 945.16. The determined fat contents correspond well to the expected values, with low relative standard deviations (rsd).
